Prefiro Não is a group exhibition that takes its cue from International Workers' Day (May 1st) and presents a collection of works that explore the vulnerability of the laboring body, as well as the idea of self-surveillance and the regulation of one's body in a state of constant improvement for the exclusive survival of labor, excluding subjectivities.
Featuring works by artists Alice Shintani, Amador e Jr. Segurança Patrimonial, Bruno Baptistelli, Cícero Costa, Cinthia Marcelle, Daniel de Paula, Érica Storer, Fábio Menino, Felipe Rezende, João Livra, Laura Vinci, Leonardo Araujo, Marcelo Cidade, Mayana Redin, and Silvio De Camillis, the exhibition took place from May 4 to May 18, 2024, at Quase Espaço in São Paulo.
